Stephen Duncombe is professor of history and policis of the media at NYU. He is author/editor of various books, among them Dream: Re-Imagining Progressive Politics in an Age of Fantasy, and the Cultural Resistance Reader. Duncombe has spent his whole life involved in activist networks, and he cofounded the Lower East Side scene and Reclaim the Streets: New York. Recently, he’s created the School for Radical Activism and the Center for Artistic Activism.
