We’re a group of image professionals (designers, photographers, filmmakers, artists) who felt frustrated by the lack of connections between art and social action and decided to leave our regular fields of work and get in the midst of things: Enmedio. In the midst of nowhere and everywhere. From here, we explore the transformative power of images and stories through spectacular interventions using all the means within our reach: photography , the media, design… that’s how we create interference in the dominant narrative, disruptions in the official account of the world.

KEPASAKONLAKASA
Kepasakonlakasa has focused its activity in the Basque Country, mainly denouncing anti-social housing policies, and also the bad practices and abuses perpetrated by organisations and institutions in the autonomous community. Over the past few years, the collective has carried out numerous actions in collaboration with trade union organisations and social movements such as Stop Desahucios (Stop Evictions) Gipuzkoa. The founding members of KePasaKonLaKasa disbanded in 2012, leaving open the possibility of reactivating other forms of activisms for the right to decent housing.
